2019 is Chinese lunar pig year, thus the mascot of 36th Kite Festival is designed on base of it. Named “ Feibao” means “ flying” symbolizes the motherland to take off, the mascot in sea blue sport suits with sunshine smiling looks full of vitality. Feibao is flying a kite that made of world map, the thread in his hands with words “XXXVI”, the thread handle is made on base of sliver inlaid rosewood, that is one of Weifang intangible culture heritages.
