On the morning of May 21st, Mr. Song Dong-kun, Councilor from the Korean Federation of Literary and Art Circles, Professor Nam Jin-seo (Cosmetology) from the University of Gwiyang at Incheon and others, out of the admiration for the fame of the artist, pursued the study of "Gaomi Paper-cutting" Art from the skillful lady artist Ms. Guo Haizhen.
"Gaomi Paper-cutting" is one of the "Three Top Exquisite Arts" of traditional folk art in Gaomi City, Shandong Province. Ms. Guo Haizhen, who was praised by the Nobel Prize winner Mr. Mo Yan as a skillful lady artist, on the basis of inheritance, has formed her own style of paper-cutting in terms of creativity in the design, composition of the pattern, and cutting techniques.
Song Dong-kun and Nam Jin-seo visited the show of Ms. Guo Haizhen's works with great interest and conducted artistic exchanges.
