Liang Yong
Liang Yong (the third tone in Chinese pronunciation), also called Liang Yong (the first tone), was born in Tancheng, Shandong, and is now a member of China Artists Association, studying as a postgraduate student at Shandong University.
He has successively studied in the first sessions of Li Xiang High Research Class at Zhejiang University, China Academy of Art, China National Academy of Painting and Capital Normal University. He once learned painting from masters Chen Zhenlian, Lu Yushun, Li Xiang, Chen Zhi’an and Liu Zhengjie. His work Sun and Earth Shining Together was nominated for 2011 National Chinese Painting Exhibition (China Artists Association). Blooming Flowers in Rainy Taihang Mountains was nominated for “Splendid China” National Chinese Painting Exhibition (China Artists Association). Appointment With Land was nominated for the highest-leveled excellence award of 2012 “Access to Gold on Eight Waste Land” National Chinese Painting Biennial Exhibition (China Artists Association). Appointment With Land was nominated for 2012 “Wu Guanzhong Art Museum Opening” and National Chinese Painting Exhibition (China Artists Association”. Taihang Mountain in Moonlight was nominated for the 7th Session of Love for Western Land National Chinese Painting Exhibition (China Artists Association). Guimengling in Mengshan Mountain Series and Mountain Stream Echo in Mengshan Mountain Series were nominated for Creation Award of Shandong Provincial Landscape Painting Jinjing Exhibition (Shandong Provincial People’s Government).
