On the morning of Oct. 17, the Unveiling Ceremony of Yangguang Xiaoqing New Era Civilization Practicing Center was held in Weifang Cultural and Creative Industrial Park, on which, Fan Mingtao, the Vice Director of the CPC Municipal Committee Propaganda Department and the Director of Municipal Civilization Office gave her speech and unveiled the center with Liu Yanfang, the Secretary General of CYL Municipal Committee; Attendants of the ceremony include Fang Guo, a Grade-II Investigator of Hi-tech Zone Administration Committee of Weifang, Li Yilong, the Deputy Director General of Municipal Bureau of Culture, Broadcasting, News and Publications, Wang Wenna, the Vice President of Municipal Disabled Persons’ Federation, and Dong Yulong, the Director of Service Center of Weifang Software Park.
Yangguang Xiaoqing Civilization Practicing Center for the New Era
At the key stage of vigorously pushing forward the construction of a civilization practicing center for the new era, Weifang Hi-tech Zone, with its persistence in “prior to carry and try, strive for the best and take the lead”, has identified 34 pilot units to build them into model civilization practicing centers for the new era at high standards. As one of them, Yangguang Xiaoqing Traditional Culture and Arts Dissemination Center took the initiative to start related work and built the first civilization practicing center for the new era in the public welfare organization field of our city, and developed a series of activities to play its role of modeling and driving.
On the unveiling ceremony, Liu Xiaoqing, a Member of the Standing Committee of Municipal People's Political Consultative Conference, and Director of Yangguang Xiaoqing Civilization Practicing Center for the New Era introduced the center.
In his speech, Fan Mingtao, the Director of Municipal Civilization Office, fully affirmed all efforts in pushing forward the spiritual civilization construction of Hi-tech Zone, Weifang, expressed his congratulations to the establishment of Yangguang Xiaoqing Civilization Practicing Center for the New Era, and his requirements of establishing awareness in responsibility, service, overall situation and brand, focusing on, learning and implementing President Xi’s ideas about the socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era, fully leveraging advantages in volunteers to build a capable, passionate, reliable and responsible team for civilization practicing, to actively work in ideological guidance, morality education and cultural inheritance, to push forward the construction of civilization practicing center in Weifang for the new era onto a new stage.
Attendants visited the Yangguang Xiaoqing Civilization Practicing Center for the New Era, and listened to a special lecture by Prof. Lang Ning from Weifang Medical University, titled Profoundly Understanding and Learning the Cultural Thoughts of President Xi in the New Era.
What is a civilization practicing center for the new era?
