On the afternoon of December 4, the Shandong Cultural (Weifang) ecological preservation construction conference was held in Qingzhou to discuss how to conduct Yellow River cultural protection and inheritance, as well as provincial Preservation Area construction.
Jiang Shiqiu, deputy director of the Department of Culture and Tourism of the province, Ma Qingmin, deputy mayor of Weifang municipal government, and Wang Qin, director of the protection and research department of the provincial intangible protection center, attended the meeting. Shandong Culture (Weifang) ecological protection area construction team members, the dean and deputy of culture and tourism bureau in each county, participated in the meeting. As the only national cultural ecological reserve in Shandong Province, Weifang’s effects has been fully affirmed and high praised on the construction about the ecology and intangible culture protection in city. At present, it is necessary to set up the clear action objectives, constructional concepts and focus points, local responsibilities distribution. Surrounding the cultural ecological reservation as the key area to carry on the study and training programs, to implement the traditional craft revitalization plan, to display regional traditional performing arts, meanwhile support for the construction of small towns with intangible characteristics and the intangible culture brand development. To understand the actual situation and the policy thoroughly, and do the work in detail, and to truly promote it into an ecological area with rich heritage, strong atmosphere, distinctive characteristics and benefits to the people.
The construction area is vivid practice of national intangible culture protection, the most important part of the construction of modern high-quality cities, and the inevitable requirement of meeting the people's good life. It is necessary to fully understand the importance of cultural ecological protection in the new period and to dig deep into historical resources. Adhere to systematic protection, pay attention to living state inheritance, cultivate cultural brands, and speed up the implementation of various tasks in the construction of cultural ecological reservation. We must strictly implement our responsibilities, improve the mechanism, intensify promotion, strengthen supervision and assessment, and further strengthen the organizational leadership. All relevant departments should conscientiously follow the arrangements of the provincial party committee to take on practical work, overcome difficulties, strive to build the top level national cultural ecological protection areas, and contribute to the construction of a strong cultural province.
This meeting is the first meeting since the establishment of the work team of Shandong Culture (Weifang) Ecological Reservation. It is an important measure to carry out the relevant requirements of the national, provincial and municipal governments on the construction of cultural and ecological protection areas.
At the same time, the meeting put forward specific requirements for the next following work to all counties, urban areas and relevant departments: to convey the spirit of the meeting and understand the great importance of building the preservation areas; to combine the actual situation to refine tasks and implement responsibilities; and to strengthen communication and cooperation to promote the construction and development together.
During the meeting, some municipal departments, such as the Municipal Bureau of Education, the Municipal Bureau of Natural Resources and Planning, and the relevant responsible persons of Kuiwen District, Hanting District, Qingzhou City, Gaomi City and other counties introduced the statements on the development of the protection areas in 2020, the key work plan in 2021 and the main objectives of the 14th Five-Year Plan, in accordance with the requirements of the construction of Shandong Culture (Weifang) ecological protection areas, suggested to the following construction and development.
