The 38th Weifang International Kite Festival has announced its mascot, "Feixia” (flying knight) , by the Weifang International Kite Festival Comprehensive Service Center.
According to the introduction, the design concept of this year's mascot is: the dragon is an auspicious representation in China and the totem of the Chinese nation, means the spirit of valor and tenacity. The "dragon head centipede" kite is one of the representative works of Weifang kite, as well as the national intangible cultural heritage item. The design combined above elements with Weifang Chinese New Year picture to create an image of a flying knight full of vitality and confidence.
