Chongwen Bookstore is a new cultural service platform dedicated by Zhucheng Red Star Group to promote national reading. The bookstore has four theme halls,one for children, another for teenagers, the third hall for adults and the fourth hall for Zhucheng’s history & literature.
The Bookstore is located in the Red Star Home Cultural Corridor street with an area of 850 square meters and more than 20,000 books. Since its opening in 2019, the bookstore has been recognized by the government and won the outstanding contribution award to build the civilized city, as well as the unanimous praise of readers. The bookstore is surrounded by Calligraphy Association, University for the Aged, Photography Center, Zhucheng Paper-cut Experience Hall, Zhucheng Guqin Experience Hall, Chinese Medicine Therapy Experience Hall. With various cultural formats gathered here has become a public cultural service focus where social forces are concentrated in.
Bookstore in specialized books management, reader service, hall with self-study tables and chairs, each study around the table with a free socket, hall with drinks and small dessert, reading to relax, there also many parent-child activity area and related multimedia small stage, children can hold all kinds of small activities, such as poetry Recitation Contest, speech competition and dance performances.
More than a dozen parent-child readings have been held since the bookstore was opened. The reading activities are aim to promote the practice of civilization in the new era. Eight lectures on sinology, five online reading sessions and more than a dozen offline recitation sessions have been held.
