Cool autumn suits to enjoy the red sorghum. On Sept. 29th, at 9am, the annual Red Sorghum Culture Festival was officially unveiled.
Li Peijin, Wei Zheng, Shi Yumei, Wu Jinjing and other city leaders, Zhang Cunshou, Shan Yinggui, Liu Zonghua, Shao Lihua and other guests from the culture and art fields attended the opening ceremony
The mighty opening show, “going through history” , brought spectators back the history of Gaomi county.
As the minister of Publicity department of Municipal government, Wei Zheng, said in his speech that in recent years, we have actively built the Cultural brand by holding Red Sorghum Cultural Festivals and made efforts to upgrade the the city with culture. This year's Red Sorghum Cultural Festival highlights the theme of "Cultural creativity, Delicacy Gaomi", showcases the charm of Red Sorghum culture from various angles and contributes to the construction of high quality city.
Mo Yan, the famous writer and literary of Nobel Prize winner, post a congratulatory video for the opening of the Festival.
Nan Guangxun and Zhang Jingfang, experts of Chinese Poetry Association, unveiled the Qilu Tunes Creation Base, Yu Chengsen, experts of Tourism China Photography network, and Wang Limin, former executive vice minister of Publication Department of Weifang, unveiled the Gaomi photography creation base of tourism China network.
Famous painters, Liu Zonghua and Yuan Dachuan, respectively exhibited their works "Love Full Red Sorghum" and "Sorghum Red", Sun Jiawei exhibited his works "Vault of The Yan Tomb" and "Old Cypress in Zheng’s temple", and Ni Yong exhibited "Shen Zhou Painting with Poems" commissioned by Gaomi famous calligrapher Zhang Qifeng.
Gaomi city first "I Love recitation" poetry conference, "the second Red Sorghum Literature Star" held the award ceremony.
The brand image display of "Beauty of Gaomi Four Treasures" fully shows the creative charm of Gaomi intangible cultural heritage. following the show of "Song future" with passionate singing and dance to display the bright future in Gomi county.
After the opening, the various activities under the theme of “ Red Sorghum” will be launched successively.
