It is a comprehensive museum integrating education, exhibition, cultural relic protection and archaeological excavation. In 2017, it was rated as a national first-level museum. The current exhibition hall was built in 1999, covers an area of 24053.5 square meters with the construction area of 18669.7 square meters, stocks more than 90,000 pieces of cultural relics.

Shihu Garden Museum,Shihu Garden, also known as "Ding’s Garden", located in the middle of Hujia Archway Street, Weicheng District, Weifang City, covers an area of 10,400 square meters and is reputed as "Pearl of east of Shandong province". In 1988, it was announced by The State Council as a national key cultural relics protection institute. Weifang Kite Museum is China's first large-scale professional kite museum, building area of 8100 square meters, including seven exhibition halls and a multi-function hall. Featuring of Weifang Kite, the museum modeling selected the dragon head of centipede, the roof ridge is a dragon, flying in the sky. Its architectural style is significant unique in China as the landmark building of "City of Kite".

Happy Way Weihsien Concentration Camp Museum is the national patriotism education demonstration base, the national key cultural relics protection institute. There are 7 existing historic building, respectively, the original hospital building,is called cross building, due to its special architectural modeling, the No.1old Weifang people's hospital experts building, which was the headmaster’s office, No. 2 experts building, the 2nd floor (former women bible school and hospital nurse school), Wenhua building, Wen Mei House and two rows of bungalows (the former ward area). Weihsien Happy way site was established in 1882, by 1942, 60 years, successively established prudential elementary school, the mandarin middle school, university and other education institutions, cultivate the Mou Guangyi, Chen shao-min and many other people in the revolution, the Happy Way Hospital was one of the most advanced medical technology hospitals at that time, more a large number of doctors, like Wei Yizhai, from here to the revolution...... In March 1942, The Japanese army occupied and transformed Happy Way site into Weixian Concentration camp, specially used to restrain foreign nationals in China. More than 2,000 foreign nationals in China, including 327 children, were detained, involving more than 20 countries around the world.

Qingzhou City Museum is a comprehensive museum, renovated on base of Yidu County Museum which was built in 1959. The original site was Feng Pu's ancestral hall of the Qing Emperor Kangxi years of the Grand master, moved to the present site in 1989. Today's museum is a siheyuan, Ming and Qing dynasties style architectural complex, covers an area of 28,000 square meters, building area of 12,000 square meters. In 2008, it was rated as one of the first batch of national First-class museums, the only county-level comprehensive museum among the first batch of 83 national first-class museums. In 2017, together with Yunmen Mountain and Qingzhou Ancient City, were promoted to national AAAAA level tourist attractions.

Zhucheng Museum is a localized comprehensive museum, covering land area of 88 mu,including the Instruction area of 22,000 Square meter. At present, as the county- level museum which covers the largest single building area in China, the museum had started to be built since Dec., 2007, was opened for public on 19th August, 2010. The total collection of cultural relics is more than 50,000 pieces, including 89 national first-class cultural relics, 258 second-class cultural relics and 1499 third-class cultural relics.

Shouguang Museum is a local comprehensive museum with the building area of 7600 square meters and exhibition area of 4000 square meters. The museum has rich collection resources and is known as "a treasure house of cultural relics in Northern Shandong". The collection of cultural relics has reached more than 141,300 pieces/set, among which 11 pieces/set of grade I cultural relics, 105 pieces/set of grade II cultural relics and 498 pieces/set of grade III cultural relics have been classified. Gaomi Museum is a national second-class museum with a construction area of 4200 square meters. Together with the library and cultural center, Gaomi Museum is a landmark cultural building in Gaomi. The museum has five exhibition halls, including the hall of historical celebrities, the Hall of Folk Customs, the Hall of cultural relics, the Hall of New Year paintings, and the Hall of Gaomi modern history. The current collection of cultural relics more than 11,000 pieces. With advanced facilities and reasonable layout, the new museum has three basic functions: exhibition, scientific research and cultural relic protection. Changyi Museum is located at the west foot of Wenshan mountain and on the west bank of Weifang River. It was built in 1997, covering an area of 42.71 mu, with a construction area of 5500 square meters. Adopting the traditional temple structure featuring of magnificent national characteristics, the whole building is a window for displaying the splendid history and culture of Changyi. The museum has 87,000 cultural relics in its collection, ranking 10th in the province, including 5 first-level cultural relics, 26 second-level cultural relics, and 1179 third-level cultural relics. The Bronzes of Shang Dynasty "Deng Gong ware", "Taotie white jade bowl" of Ming Dynasty, and "Huang Yuan imperial Doctor's manuscript" of Qing Dynasty enjoy high reputation at home and abroad.
