Promoting the exchanges and deepening cooperation, Weifang Artisans representatives, from May 29 to June 2,with the delegation of Shandong Province successfully held a series of activities of "2023 Shandong Week Show in Hong Kong and Macao.
During the Hong Kong-Macao Shandong Weekly Show, Shandong Province sorted out and integrated high-quality cultural tourism resources, and presented the new image of Shandong cultural tourism to Hong Kong and Macao citizens in various forms, such as promotional videos, melodramas, and roadshows.
Sun Haidong, the provincial representative inheritor of cocoon silk weaving and dyeing technology, Liu Bin, the provincial representative inheritor of Weifang Peach Stone carving, and Meng Xiangxiang, the municipal representative inheritor of dough sculpture delivered splendid live performances during the event. At "Weifang Good Craft" booth, hard-wing kites, silver inlaid lacquerware, stationery set for ancient study room decoration purposes as well as Yangjiabu New Year Pictures and brush pen are showcased Weifang's cultural heritage and Weifang charming tourism attractions.
The Shandong Intangible Cultural Heritage activity in Campus was launched on June 2 at Macao Jiao Ye Middle School. Weifang ICH inheritors, Sun Haidong, Liu Bin and Meng Xiangxiang demonstrated their skills in tie-dyeing, peach stone carving and dough sculpture to the teachers and students of Macao campus. They also invited them to experience the fun brought by intangible cultural heritage by making hand-painted kites and kneading dough figurines together.
