In the morning of September 17, 2023, the 13th Cross-Strait Chinese Character Art Festival was grand opened in Shouguang Historical and Cultural Center. As an important part of the event, the intangible cultural heritage exhibition of "Qilu Ancient Style · The most impressive memories is Weifang" simultaneously appeared, and attracted nearly 100 famous artists and more than 1,000 visitors to watch the display, such as calligraphy, seal cutting and sculpture. Liu Zhaoxuan, chairman of Taiwan Chinese Culture Sustainable Development Foundation, and his delegation toured the exhibition with great interest and inscribed for the Tong Wentang brush pen.


"Qilu Ancient style" exhibition with the theme of "Qilu style, Wei River-- the sprite has lasted for thousands of years" is divided into three exhibition sections: "Weifang Craft", "Weifang Taste" and "Weifang Creativity". Weifang kite, Weifang Peach stone carving, Yangjiabu wood block New Year picture, inlaid silver lacquer technique, silk weaving, Qingzhou red silk inkstone, Tongwentang brushpen, Changyi silk, gourd painting, Weifang embroidery, gourd carving, Hengshengzhai dim sum, Longsheng pastry, Zhucheng green tea, Shouguang fruit and vegetable crisp, Changyi big cake, As well as Ancient beast baby, porcelain tiger,  and other dozens of cultural creation exhibits were displayed and sold, which were appreciated and favored by the visitors, and some products were sold out in a short time.


This exhibition is guided by China Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Center, sponsored by Weifang Culture and Tourism Bureau, Qilu Culture (Weifang) Ecological Conservation Area Service Center, Weifang Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Association, Shouguang Culture and Tourism Bureau, for strengthening ICH transmission, display Qilu culture (Weifang) ecological conservation area construction results. The exhibition is promoting economic development in urban and rural areas.
