On the morning of October 22, the ceremony of the fourth National Traditional Kite Creative award Contest and the unveiling of Weifang Fuyanshan Kite Culture Tourism Base was held in Fuyanshan Kite Flying Field. The fourth National Traditional Kite Creative Award Competition is one of the important competitions of 2023 Weifang International Kite Carnival, which is of great significance for inheriting Weifang traditional kite making skills, improving making innovation and developing kite culture continuously. The competition is divided into six categories: dragon head kite (excluding body), hard-wing kite, soft-wing kite, board kite (including soft board and hard board), three-dimensional kite and dynamic kite. Participants need to complete the process of making, pasting, painting, etc in limitied time. The judges will score according to the shape composition, skeleton technology, painting technology, gluing technology, innovation, flying, etc. According to the scores, 5 first prize, 10 second prize and 14 third prize will be selected.
