The fifth session of the "2024 Free Lectures and experience for Traditional Craft " jointly organized by the Weifang Crafts and Folk Art Promotion Office and the Weifang Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Association ended last Saturday. The last courses were topology and Silver inlaid Lacquer Ware. A total of more than 50 students came to Shihu Garden intangible cultural heritage space to experience these skills.
After last Saturday's activity, the summer serial of lectures has been successfully concluded. Since the start of the class on August 3, 10 kinds of courses including specimen making,  Woodblock New Year Pictures, Opera facial painting, paper cutting, shadow puppet, Kite, Embroidery, pottery, Topology and Silver inlaid lacquer have been held in succession. More than 250 students participated in the summer serial lectures.
Through this activity, the students’ summer vacation was enriched, also learned the profound Chinese culture and stimulated the love for the hometown culture. In a lively learning atmosphere, they have exercised their hands-on practice ability and effectively promoted the inheritance and promotion of intangible cultural heritage among youth and kids.

Weifang Topology 
Ms. Ding Shanshan was invited to deliver a live lecture. Firstly she introduced topology historical and development, classification and characteristics, then displayed a number of exquisite works, to help students understand of the preliminary of technique.
Silver inlaid Lacquer
Mr. Zhou introduced the overview, types of subject and production process, then displayed two exquisite mahogany inlaid silver plates at the class. The daily using patterns and all sizes exquisite craftsmanship that made for a banquet.
